Sorting Data

There are two ways to sort the contents of a table view

• You can simply click in the header of any column to sort by that column. The first click will sort ascending and the second descending.

• If you need more comprehensive sorting then you should click  and select Custom Sorting …

Then the following Sort dialog will appear where you can select which columns you want to sort your data by and in what order:

Sorting Example: For example, you can first sort by a person’s employer Company name, then by Department and then by Title:

You will get the sorted results as follows with the triangle sign present in all columns used for sorting:
