Creating or Editing a Map
Creating
To create a new map, hover the mouse pointer over the plus sign in left toolbar and select Map or right-click any map and select New from the shortcut menu. The map Edit Form will appear. Using this form you can enter general information about your new map:
Enter the name of the Map in the Name edit box and any information in the Description edit box.
Choose the group that will be able to see the Map from the Visibility list.
Choose the group that will be able to edit the Map from the Editing list.
Leave the Locked field clear if you are going to create the map now. Selecting the field protects the map from accidental editing. Anyway, even if you lock it, you can unlock it later.
Click Save. The Map object will be created with a blank map image. You can start editing the image using the map editing toolbar.
Editing
To edit the map image of an existing map object, you have to open the map by double-clicking it or right-clicking it and selecting Open. The map will be opened and if the map's image is not locked you can start editing it using the drawing toolbar.
To edit the information of an opened map, double-click inside its Information pane. The map edit form will open where you can change the map settings. If you want to avoid accidental changes on the Map, select the Locked checkbox, so that no one will be able to edit the Map. You can unlock it later.
If you have made a wrong change on the map image, you can go back one step by selecting Undo from the Edit menu.
To edit the information of any existing map which is not yet open, right click the map and choose Edit from the shortcut menu.
