Automatic updating

Vine consists of many components. Initially, the Vine setup installs the component files on your computer. After that, when you start Vine and connect to the server, Vine checks if there are new components or updated versions of existing ones in the server database. If it locates new components available for you, Vine asks you whether you want to download and install the new components:

Click Install.

This method can be used for a full version update of Vine. In this case Vine.msi must be placed to the database.

The Vine administrator has to put Vine update files to the Vine database before they become available to users.
