Using Drag and Drop
The easiest way to create a connection between two objects is to drag one of them onto the other.
Vine will help you to create a connection:
If you drag an object and hold it over a folded tree branch, Vine will expand the branch.
Examples: any tree on the Tool pane or in an object’s Connections/Folders panes. If you drag an object and hold it over some object in the History, Vine will open that object and you can continue dragging to any pane.
If you drag an object onto the currently open object, Vine will create a connection depending on where you drop the object. If you drag the object onto an object of a type different from the type of the dragged object, Vine will connect these two objects. In all other cases, i.e. if you drag the object to the Information pane, or to an empty space on any pane(normal or enlarged to a table view), or onto an object of the same type with the dragged one, Vine will connect the dragged and the main open object.
The target object of a drag and drop operation is selected in Vine. When the main open object is the target, its name is highlighted:
For example:
The target object of a drag and drop operation is the selected event:

Click one object from the pair you want to connect and drag it onto the second object. The target object will be selected with green color.
