Vine 26.01

We have made a make over of Vine CRM for Web. It now has the similar look as Vine CRM for Windows app does. 

There are also a lot of other changes. The most important are

• We have removed the very old ActiveSync implementation and its settings. It was used to replicate calendar data between Vine and Exchange and it was no more used by almost anyone. There were security issues so we decided to drop the functionality now
• We have also removed support for RSS Feeds as those were not used basically at all and were quite a security risk for organisations.
• Vine CRM for Web has now support for same "remember me" functionality as our other apps have

Quite a few new features, the most important are

• Animations are now easily available for columns and chapters. You can set those to animate with easy settings when they are scrolled to be visible
• Possibility to set hover and click colors for buttons
• New column layouts like 1+4+1+4
• Possibility to set image as column background
• Added border settings for chapters
• Possible now to add link to another landing page
• There is now functionality to convert the old landing pages to new editor using AI. It can make errors and it can leave some chapters out. We suggest to compare carefully the previous version and converted version. You can always revert to previous version using HISTORY command in toolbar.

Chapter background images in emails

We have added support for chapter background images to emails. Those do work in most of the email clients, but not in all. We suggest to use linked images in emails which have such chapter background images. Remember to always set the chapter background color too, it is used in case the background image cannot be shown.

Better event handling for automations in emails

We have improved the email editor for better support for webinars and other events. It is now possible to easily set the links in emails to use the triggering event as target. The event links have now new option "Event from Automation Trigger"

Converting old emails

There is now functionality in very old template based emails to convert those to new format using AI. AI can make errors and even ignore some chapters, we suggest to compare carefully the converted version to the original.
